BEST STUDENT PAPER AWARD!

1st Prize: S$ 450
2nd Prize: S$ 300

All graduate students are invited to submit articles that will focus on the ways in which the Internet and other technologies interact with Chinese cultural and social life.

Length: approx. 5000 words
Language: English

Abstract deadline: March 31st, 2006
Full paper deadline: June 1st, 2006

You are required to email an abstract (300-500 words) of your paper before March 31 and to submit the full paper before June 1. to sirc@ntu.edu.sg

When you submit the paper, please specify on the cover that this is submited for the best student paper contest
.

Submissions will be judged on the basis of
- originality of thought and observation
- depth of research and scholarship
- topicality of problems addressed

The winners will be presented the prize at the conference.
