Call for Paper: The 2nd International ICST Conference on Digital Business

To be held in London, from 23rd – 25th February 2011, the conference seeks to solicit original ideas high-quality research and position papers that analyze and discuss innovative business models, new forms of enablement for digital businesses, community-centric technologies and their role in business as well as cutting edge future internet research with the focus on the socio-economic aspects of these developments.

Publication of a special issue: Innovations in Mobile Use in the PAN-ASIA context

SiRC will publish a special issue in the Media Asia journal reiterating the theme of the ICA 2010 Mobile Preconference. The call for paper is limited only to papers submitted to the ICA 2010 Mobile Preconference “Innovations in Mobile Use”.

Call for Young Scholar Awards: LIRNEasia dissemination event and tutorials Singapore: 21-22 June 2010. Call for applications for Young Scholar awards Fifteen Young Scholars from the Asia-Pacific region will be selected to participate in tutorials and a research dissemination event scheduled to be held before the 2010 International Communication Association (ICA) conference in Singapore. SiRC would like to invite applications for the SiRC Associate programme. The programme offers researchers and scholars the opportunity to be affiliated with a centre of excellence in research on the new media. The programme also facilitates research collaboration among local and international faculty. Please find more information below:

SiRC would like to invite applications for the SiRC Visiting Scholars Programme. The programme supports research by individuals who are undertaking research projects related to information technology in Asia, especially Singapore. It is open to practicing scholars or advanced graduate students. The Programme is for a minimum of one month up to a maximum of two semesters.
