The way the program is structured and the way the professors handled the courses encouraged me to freely express myself and let out my creativity. I was attracted to the programme because it seemed to offer the right mix of technical and soft skills that I might need as an information systems professional. While the courses taught were all challenging and I did learn a lot, it also allowed me to hone life skills like time management and learning to quickly identify things that I did not know (about a topic or a course) and locating that information. Also, the interaction with my classmates has allowed me to develop my people skills as well as take away with me the lifelong friendships that I formed with them.

The Master's degrees offered in the market were either too technical or too business oriented. However, I found that the MSIS programme offered the right combination of technical, business and managerial courses, which is why I applied for it. As the programme is systematically structured, I gain much self-confidence in my IT skills after completing the course. Further, the programme offers both fundamental and advanced topics, and taking both makes for a well-rounded IT professional.
