   Research, Teaching and Professional Experience
Dr. Cenite is Assistant Professor and Assistant Chair, overseeing student and alumni affairs. He has been teaching at the School since 2002, and he won the NTU Excellence in Teaching (Teacher of the Year) award in 2004. His research interests include freedom of expression issues, with a particular focus on sexual content regulation.
He earned his Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Minnesota while teaching media law, then was a lecturer at the University of Denver. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Stanford University, where he was Articles Editor of the Stanford Law Review.

Faculty at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information publish and present their work in many areas of communication and information studies.
