Dr. Khoo joined NTU in 1996. Prior to this, he worked for eight years at the NUS Library, in various roles. |

At NTU, Dr. Khoo teaches courses on information mining and analysis, database management systems, Web-based information systems, information sources and searching, and research methods. |

His main research interests are related to natural
language processing, information extraction and knowledge
discovery, text and data mining, intelligent interfaces,
and information retrieval. He was the editor of the Singapore
Journal of Library & Information Management, from
1997 to 2002. |
