The aim of the Healthy Lifestyle Committee is to promote healthy living among staff and their families, and creating a conducive work environment that supports and nurtures positive lifestyle behaviours. Activities such as mass workouts, health screening/exhibitions/talks on health matters are being organised from time to time for staff members.
Staff Recreation Club (SRC)
Provide sports and recreational activities for its members and to promote interaction among colleagues, both academic and non-academic. In keeping with these objectives, numerous events and activities are organised by SRC each year to cater to the wide-ranging interests of members.
Senior Common Room(SCR)
All academic, senior administrative and professional staff of NTU and NIE are automatically members of the NTU Senior Common Room. The objectives SCR are to promote good interaction and networking among its members, and to facilitate communication and feedback between members and the university administration on matters affecting the university community.
The ESU-NTU Staff Branch was formed in 2nd June 2006 which represents the non-academic staff from the various schools and department of NTU and NIE for all union members. It aims to protect the rights of non-academic staff in NTU/NIE who are union members and liase with the management staff in Office of Human Resource in collective bargaining on wages and terms and conditions of employment.
