You can support the NTU 21st Century Fund with gifts to either the Endowment Donations or the Programme Donations. The NTU Endowment Fund is for the long-term benefit of the University and gives the flexibility of introducing innovative projects. The NTU Programme Fund, however, gives immediate benefits to students in terms of bursaries, scholarships, book and cash prizes, research sponsorship, fellowship, student loans and facility development.

To date, the fund has been put to various uses. To name, there are Professorships, where internationally-renowned scholars are invited to review and develop the students' curriculum, teach, initiate and undertake joint research projects with the academic staff as well as give lectures and seminars to the public. The Dou Yee Bursary, for example, which is rewarded to the needy students, has also helped lift the financial burden of many families.
