In a Nutshell

Established on 29 September 1998 via the Memorandum of Understanding between MINDEF and NTU, the Protective Technology Research Centre (PTRC) has since administered 27 research projects and 1 research programme with a total funding of around $21 millions. It has also employed a total of 80 research staff & students, 60% of whom are Post-doctoral Research Fellows and Project Officers. PTRC has since organised 5 short courses, 47 public seminars, 1 international symposium and 2 international conferences in Protective Design and Geotechnical and Rock engineering.
