WHAT ARE THE HIGHLIGHTS?
1. Unique TIP Pedagogy
Designed with a potential entrepreneur in mind, TIP provides each participant with a wholesome learning experience through a rich array of activities beyond the classroom. With a unique teaching pedagogy (known as the TIP pedagogy), it expertly combines institutionalized learning with Experiential Learning, Global Immersion Training and Transformational Experience. By using integrative analytical education tools and dynamic simulations programs, participants will learn how to solve problems and make business decisions effectively.
One of the capstone modules for the US segment will require participants to put to use the knowledge learnt through the program in a business plan competition for potential cash rewards. Many past winners have used the cash rewards as part of their seed funding for their startup ventures.
2. Exhilarating curriculum
MSc TIP is an intensive 1-year full time master program offered by NTU. It is modelled against the entire venture creation process and effectively delivered through our unique TIP pedagogy.
MSc TIP Participants start off the program through a specially designed high-impact team bonding program at the Outward Bound Singapore (OBS). After which MSc TIP participants are put through a rigorous knowledge competency building and experiential learning at NTU, followed by a 1-week of startup and corporate study visits in the Silicon Valley (San Francisco, CA) plus a 3-week global immersion program at the University of Washington (Seattle, WA). Expanding their horizon and global views, MSc TIP participants are further immersed into a 2-week global immersion program in China that brings them to the Zhongguancun Technology Hub in Beijing and the Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park in Shanghai for corporate study visits to startup and fast growing companies.
3. Study and live in US
A week of startup and corporate study visits in Silicon Valley (San Francisco, CA) and a 3-week entrepreneurial program of study and experiences at the University of Washington located in the beautiful city of Seattle, WA.
