What?
virtualXgame (VXG) uses a battling game application (Eclipse IDE), where you command a group of virtual combatants by programming them with the best mix of characteristics and strategies. Your combatants will engage in a series if battles, and compete for virtual supremacy with other commanders’ troops.

Who?
VXG is open to all JC, Poly and ITE students, competing in the JC circuit and Poly/ITE circuit respectively. Each JC is allowed to send one team comprising a coach/teacher, and maximum of 3 students. Each Poly/ITE is allowed to send two teams, each comprising a coach/teacher, and maximum of 3 students.
How?
Main registration is now open from 5 September to 1 October 2007. Online registration.
NTU will be releasing the game information and training manual on 5 September 2007 during the contestant briefing, as well as on VXG’s website. In addition, VXG will set up a online discussion board from 6 to 16 September 2007, where VXG contest director will answer queries on the game. Participants are strongly encouraged to take part in the forum discussion.
The contestant briefing will be held on 5 September 2007 at Civil Service College. More details will be sent via email closer to the date of briefing.
