Our focus is excellence. Therefore, only a small number of students will be admitted to the PhD programme. Our programme is rigorous and it takes three to five years to complete on a full-time basis.

The academic year starts in July and applications for entrance should be received no later than January 10 the same year. Late applications may affect acceptance, and incomplete applications will not be considered. The application package consists of:

Application form;

Official transcripts of undergraduate and masters’ work;

Statement of objective

Copies of degree certificates;

Two letters of recommendation from academic sources; (If the applicant has been away from the academic environment for a significant period, non-academic references may be considered)

Official GMAT / GRE / TOEFL scores; and

Any other supporting documents.

All applications are reviewed for academic vigour and relevance of the proposed research topic. An interview may be required. Candidates will be notified of the admission decision as soon as it is reached.

Qualified students from all disciplines are welcome to apply. Admission requirements include:

A good Bachelor's degree.  A Master’s degree is not required.

Evidence of adequate training and the ability to conduct research (For example: undergraduate or master’s theses, monographs or research articles)

All applicants must submit their official Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) scores or Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) scores. These tests must have been taken within the last three years. As well, applicants who have not studied extensively in an English-language institution are required to submit their Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score. This test must have been taken within two years of the date of application. There are no waivers for the GMAT/GRE and TOEFL requirements.

* Our institution code is 7066 for GMAT, 0291 for GRE and 0138 for TOEFL

 

ENGLISH PROFICIENCY
In addition to the TOEFL requirement, international students whose first language is not English must attend English classes and pass the English Proficiency Test set by the University.
