The part-time Bachelor of Engineering degree is designed for those with polytechnic diplomas or equivalent qualifications who would like to further their studies on a part-time basis while continuing to work. The part-time students take the same examinations as their full-time counterparts and receive the same B.Eng. degree which is wholly recognized by reputable professional institutions.

Students are taught by the full-time Professors of the University. The normal period of study is 5 years. Students may be allowed to complete the programme in not less than 4 years and in not more than 8 years (inclusive of any periods of approved Leave of Absence). The programmes are conducted in the evenings from 7.00pm to 10.00pm.
