How do I access databases subscribed by NTU Library?

You need to input your NTU Network Account username and password at the authentication page when you access our subscribed databases. Please key in staff\<your username> and <your password> (if you are a NTU staff) or student\<your username> and <your password> (if you are a NTU student).
Different databases have different mode of access, depending on whether it is an online or CD-ROM database.
The icon beside each database title represents the mode of access for that particular database.

Explanations for the access icons

	Access only at the designated Library pcs located at the Research Assistance Desk on LWN Library Level 2 These databases can only be used at PCs manned by staff at the Research Assistance Desk (Lee Wee Nam Library, Level 2). Please sign in personally at the Research Assistance Desk to use these databases. You may personally book for the use of a standalone database one day in advance. Booking is limited to 1 hour per day. Please note that we do not accept booking by phone. When booking or signing in, you are required to show your library card for identification.
	Authenticated access to Library subscribed e-resources using NTU network account on campus and remotely
	Access to free resources via the Web.
	Access via CDROM server After launching, some titles may prompt for password, click the "Auto Log-in" button at the right side of the top menu.

Database Content

You may click on the icon besides each database title to view the description about that particular database.
You will be able to find out more details about each database, for example, the topics that the database covers, whether citations or full-text is provided, the range of years covered, the size of the database, etc.
