ScienceDirect is the leading source for scientific, technical and medical (STM) information on the Internet, allowing users to conduct searches across varied sources through a personalized interface. By creating a personal profile and login, users can make use of the following tools to help them in their research: (i) save a search alert, (ii) citation alert, (iii) journal issue alert, (iv) favourite journal list, and (v) subject corner.

Coverage	Academic Press (full-text from 1993 onwards), Elsevier (full-text from 1997 onwards), Harcourt Health Sciences (full-text from 2000 onwards). Library also subscribes to backfiles for "Economics, Econometrics & Finance" collection (containing 59 titles) only - dating back to vol. 1 (1967)
Size	3 million articles from over 1700 journals. In addition, references of these articles may contain hyperlink to citations and abstracts available in the 15 ScienceDirect Abstract and Indexing Databases, and CrossRef.
