| The Governance database, also known as the Takeover Defenses database, covers about 2,000 listed US companies in 1990, 1993, 1995, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004 and 2006 on an annual basis. There are five categories: tactics for delaying bidders, voting rights, director or officer protection, other takeover defenses and provisions of certain states by law. It also includes a Governance Index for each company. | |
