Reading and input of Chinese text

Reading Chinese webpages

Internet Explorer comes installed with Chinese language. The default encoding at View is set at Auto-Select. This means the browser reads Chinese Traditional (Big5), Chinese Simplified (HZ), Chinese Simplified (GB2312) and Unicode UTF-8. Select the correct encoding when necessary.

Inputting Chinese text

MS Global IME for Chinese (PRC) and Chinese (Taiwan) are installed on the PCs. At the bottom right corner, click the EN icon and make your selection of the type of text you intend to input.
