Control & Optimization
The focus of this scientific research is on mathematical modeling, identification, optimization and control of complex systems, as they appear in modern industrial, economical and medical applications. Reliability and robustness are critical issues in the management of effective algorithms or solutions to suit increasingly more complex applications.
Through our research, we seek to explore options or alternatives on ways and methodologies that problems can be solved through exploiting the existing enormous hardware and algorithms power. We developed an automated method, which could generate optimization solutions for computationally expensive problems within a reasonable amount of computing time.
In this respect, we have developed intelligent control systems technologies for systems with fast dynamics. The developed technology can perform online modelling and robust adaptive control of systems with unknown dynamic. This includes research on energy efficient collaborative signal processing and adaptive signal processing which will give a balance between energy, accuracy and rapidity of results.
