A very warm welcome to the IEE Singapore Centre. Founded in London in 1871, The Institution of Electrical Engineers is now a transnational professional organisation of engineers and scientists in the areas of electrical, manufacturing and information engineering. It has a total membership of over 140,000 in 124 countries. Although Singapore is a small island nation, it has over two thousand IEE members who come from all races, religions and creeds. The national anthem of Singapore is "Majulah Singapura" which means "Forward Singapore". So we at the IEE Singapore Centre are trying to move forward the goals of the IEE at Singapore. These goals are to enhance the technical performance and the well being of our members to improve the performance of the Singapore economy as well as that of the whole world. The management committee is glad to serve the IEE members. If you are not yet a member and are seeking further information, you may like to visit IEE HQ through the link provided at our home page.
