I received my honored B. E. degree from the Department of  Automatic Control Engineering of Southeast University, Nanjing, P. R. China in 2001. From Feb. 2003,  I began to work towards my Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. P. N. Suganthan in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. I have completed my PhD oral defense in Apr. 2007, with PhD thesis titled "Dimensionality and prototype reduction techniques for pattern analysis". I am the  member of Pattern Recognition and Machine Intelligence Association (PREMIA), Singapore; Member of IEEE.
