Cast

Zheng Aiping plays the tragic role of the abused wife in the video. A first-time actress, this spunky woman nevertheless rose up to the challenging demands of the video that required her to fight, cry, stare into nothingness and even throw things around. In reality, Aiping is not likely to be as dramatic as her character in the video. She is usually found with stacks of notes in her arms and enjoys the occasional gossip with her group of equally resourceful friends.

 

The character of the abuser/husband is played by the very tall, fair and subjectively-handsome friend of Fiona, named Lloyd Soon. Lloyd is not part of the team, so we are really grateful that he's been so accomodating to our filming schedule. Thanks a million!

 

Crew

Yan Zixin takes on the number one spot of being the director of the video. The director cum scriptwriter is certainly dedicated to making the best out of the video. Her commitment to this whole project is something that only she can boast of in this group. When all is dark and everyone is back in hall or at home, she would probably still be in the MacLab editing the video footage to the utmost perfection. The future film director is surely the most devoted to the making of the video and definitely deserves most of the credit for all the hard work that was put into the entire project.

 

Yang Shuhui really likes her technology and computers. The undisputed IT-expert of the group, she is solely responsible for designing the entire website for the project. HTML is a four-letter word that she is certainly familiar with. Besides working on the website layout, she also shot part of the video during production. Having Shuhui in this group is like an IT Godsend since she seems to revel in the digital world while the rest of us are left floundering helplessly even when it is just 'slicing' a few pictures on Fireworks.

 

Tan Yi Wen is the camera lady of the group since her prior weights training in lugging bulky cameras before the start of this project has made handling the project video camera a breeze. When not videoing for this group project, she is usually found shooting for the campus publication or amusing herself with recording the silliness of others with her own video camera. In case one does not take this very serious photographer/videographer seriously, she also helped in the colour correction of the video with her 'photoshop eye' and is therefore a must-have if one were to treat good and correct lighting seriously.

 

Fiona Teo is undoubtedly the laughter-inducer of the group. When the going gets tough for the group, she never fails with her antics to make our stomachs ache with laughter. In between being the stress-reliever of the group, she also takes up a surprising multitude of roles in this project, including being the makeup artist, the casting director, the location director, and the lunch and dinner delivery woman. Without Fiona, the welfare of the group would have suffered since the start of this project.
