Oct 2012. We are looking to hire motivated post-docs to work on distributed inference, estimation and optimization methods in sensor networks. The candidate must have a PhD degree in electrical engineering, computer science, math/applied math or probability/statistics. He or she must have a strong background in probability, statistics, and detection and estimation theory. Experience in the following areas will be highly preferred:

  1. Distributed localization and tracking of multiple targets.
  2. Distributed optimization and inference in sensor networks, with applications to social learning.
