Recognition
·
Distinguished Service as Chairman of IEE
Since I was
elected Chairman of IEE Singapore Branch on 31 May, 2002, the Management
Committee and myself had worked tirelessly to organise numerous activities with the mission of adding
values to the membership of IEE Singapore members so to enhance their
professional competence and welfare. A total of 63 activities were organized
for members over a period of two years (May 2002 - May 2004). Under my leadership, the IEE Singapore Branch
has achieved great successes and the membership growth for the IEE Singapore
Branch has been more than 20 %.. The most notable
success is the setup of IEE NTU Student Section in 2003 whose current
membership strength is 200. Please refer to the website http://www.iee.org.sg for more details of the
activities organised for IEE Singapore Members. In recognition of my
outstanding contributions to the IEE Singapore Branch, I was presented a Token
of Appreciation in recognition of my distinguished service during the AGM held
on 29 May, 2004.
