Speech and Audio Research
The focus of our research group is in the area of speech and audio research. We have worked and are currently working in the following areas:
- Speech and feature enhancement
- Music structure discovery
- Language and speaker identification
- Speaker diariazation task.
- Audio and Video semantic extraction
We have acquired funding (2008-2013) to work in the area of
- Discriminative features/training for speech recognition
- Intelligent pre-filtering techniques for keyword spotting algorithms
