Singapore: Graduate Student (PhD) Positions in Solar Energy Research
PhD research scholarships
Two PhD research scholarships are available for an NRF grant-funded research
project looking to improve the PV module and PV systems efficiency under
tropical irradiance conditions. The projects will be focused on (i) algorithms and architectures for efficient MPPT systems
operating under partial shading conditions with rapid irradiance change; (ii)
novel low cost and reliable inverter systems for PV modules.
- A first class honours
degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related discipline from
a reputable university
- A masters degree in
Computer Science may be an advantage
- A background in
solar/renewable energy would be an advantage
