Internal projects & collaborations
Current:
- SSNet: Aims to develop models, algorithms, systems and tools to unravel the behavioral knowledge about online user communities, particularly in open collaborative systems like Wikipedia. The project is funded by A*Star, however my participation is as an informal collaborator.
- PeerSoN: Peer-to-Peer Infrastructure for Social Networking Applications is an informal collaboration with researchers in Deutsche Telekom Laboratories (Berlin, Germany), and the agenda for this project is arguably over-ambitious. We'll see ;-)

EPFL (past) projects
Internal projects:
- P-Grid: Structured overlay network with trie abstraction and support for arbitrary load skews. A major part of my PhD. was related to the core algorithms being used in P-Grid.
- Oscar: Ring based structured overlay network for heterogeneous environments and arbitrary load skews. We extend this work by developing mechanisms obviating the need of the ring invariance.
Funded projects:
- NCCR MICS: As a PhD. student in EPFL I participated in the Swiss National Center of Competence in Research on Mobile Information and Communication Systems.
- Evergrow: As a PhD. student I participated in the Evergrow EU project which studied ever-growing global scale-free networks and the design of the internet for 2025!
