About Singapore

Singapore is a garden city located at the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula. It stands at the crossroads of some of the most important sea and air routes in Asia.

Its 4.0 million population comprises Chinese, Malay, Indian and other communities, all living harmoniously together. English is widely spoken and is the language used in commerce. Singapore is also known to be a food paradise. Here you will find gourmet cuisine from over 30 countries. The climate is warm and welcoming all year round, with temperatures from 24 to 30 degrees Celsius.

Getting here:

CyberGames 2005 will be hosted by the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The University is easily accessible from Singapore Changi Airport by Taxi. Travel time to NTU by taxi from Changi is approximately 30 minutes. The fare is approximately S$25. After midnight a 50% surcharge is levied.
