Office of Finance covers the University's financial administration which includes the formulation of financial policies and guidelines, resource planning and allocation, accountability and control, financial reporting and administration of staff salaries/payroll and benefits.
These functions involve :

preparation of estimates of income and expenditure for each financial year,

maintenance of accounts,

collection of all fees, rents and other monies due to the University,

administration of research grants and contracts,

investment of funds,
-
preparation and consolidation of annual accounts for audit,

administration of purchasing and tendering procedures and its related systems,
-
processing of full-time and part-time staff salaries and allowances,
-
processing of staff benefit claims,
-
handling of NTU's insurance matters,
-
handling of valuation & disposal of gifts,
-
processing of research scholars' stipend and
-
administration of NTU Staff Loan Schemes.
