Premium Features
If your mailbox had been migrated to our new Exchange 2007, you'll
find a collection of new and exciting email features awaiting for
you when using Webmail (Outlook Web Access).

1. Use Webmail in the Language of Your
Choice
Webmail now supports multi-language interface. To
customize the language of your choice:
- Go to Options and choose Regional Settings
- Next select the language you want Webmail to use and
then click on Save

2. Auto-complete mail names
When you type the first letter of the recipient
under
the To, Cc or Bcc boxes,
Auto-complete now suggests possible matches based on names
you have typed previously.

3. Full Features Address Book
To display the full Address Book, click on the icon as
shown opposite. This will display the Global Address
List,
Contacts, and Meeting Rooms (Resources) which
can be browsed and searched
Similarly you can do a quick search by entering the
person's name in the text field and press Enter as shown |

Displaying User details ¨C Now you can see more of
a person's details on the address book from
Office
location, Phone to Job title, etc.. This
even include his or her Calendar free/busy availability. |

Accessing the Address Book ¨C when composing
a mail clicking on the To or Cc, Bcc
buttons will display the Address Book too ¡¡ |

Quick User Properties Preview ¨C You can now right-click
on your recipient¡¯s name in the To, Cc or
Bcc fields to view their properties or confirm their
identities, e.g. from office location and phone number before
you send out that mail |

4. Composing mail HTML or
Plain Text ¨C now you can choose to format your message
in HTML (using formatting like bold, italic, bullets,
font colours, etc. for your text) or simply in no frills
Plain Text.
Note: These features are also available to you
when scheduling a meeting invitation in Calendar mode.

Message formatting options ¨C You can click on the
drop down arrow on the font toolbar to view more
formatting options when composing your message in HTML |

Spelling check your messages ¨C You can click on
spell check after composing your mail to highlight any
misspelled words.Simply right-click on the
highlighted misspelled word will display you the list of
alternative suggested words for you to choose or replace
too.

5. Viewing Attachments using Webmail
Document Viewer
Now you
can read Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
or Acrobat attachments as web pages (HTML)
without these software installed on the computer.
Just
click on the [Open as Web Page] link to quickly
view the document in a web viewer. This is particularly
handy if you are accessing Webmail from an Internet or
Public kiosk
computer, etc.
It
is, of course still possible to Download or Open the
attachment in the usual way.

6.
Accessing Fileshare or SharePoint from
Webmail
You can now access your files saved in file shares i.e.
\\server\myfolder etc. or your SharePoint site
from within Webmail
Webmail
also allow you to save these links as Favorites
for ease of access next time too

Note: You are only able to access or download
files in your file shares but not upload them to the
folders

7. Enhanced Out of Office Assistant
The new Webmail allows you to schedule specific out of
office time periods when to turn this on and off -
saving you having to remember to turn the Assistant on
before your leave the office and off again on your
return.
Choose what category of Sender to send auto replies
to
You can choose to have Out-of-Office replies sent to
Internal senders, External senders, or to External
Senders in your personal Contact list only, etc.

You can even customize different Out-of-Office reply
messages to Internal and External senders.

8.
Enhanced Rules and Alerts Settings in
Webmail
Now you can edit existing rules or setup complex rules
and alerts in Webmail too. To do so:
