Under this collaboration, MGA will donate 100 seats of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software tools to NTU through its Higher Education Program. This sponsorship covers MGA’s complete suite of software tools in IC design and verification as well as in printed circuit board design. NTU staff and postgraduate students working on approved IC design projects under the Master of Science (IC Design) Programme will use the relevant IC design software tools donated by MGA in their research projects. The new Master of Science (Integrated Circuit Design) Programme offered by the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering is designed to meet the demand of the electronics industry in the area of Integrated Circuit (IC) design. It will provide electronics engineers with graduate training in the research and development of Integrated Circuits. The first cohort of 50 students has been short-listed for the coming academic year. |
