Introduction

The Research in the Division of Microelectronics covers a full range of research topics from microelectronics to nanoelectronics and from bio/photonics to optoelectronics.

Through hundreds of research projects directly supervised by the faculty, the Division has made significant contribution to various research programs funded by the Ministry of Education (MOE), Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA), industry, Nanyang Technological University, School of EEE and other international organizations, respectively.

Most importantly, these projects have provided a wide spectrum of research opportunities for our students from bachelor level up to PhD level.

With strong and very healthy research funding, all the research activities in the Division are healthily carried out in the following seven research programs.
