The Microelectronics Centre was established in 1990 in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University.
Within a few years, the Centre has expanded its research and development activities in a number of key areas in microelectronics. The research facilities of the Microelectronics Centre are housed in specialised laboratories within the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
Staff members of the Microelectronics Centre are active in providing consultancy services to the microelectronics and related industries and conducts research in a number of areas in microelectronics manpower training in undergraduate and graduate levels is an important part of the Centre's mission.
