Biography

Dr. Maode Ma received his BE degree from Tsinghua University in 1982, ME degree from Tianjin University in 1991 and Ph.D. degree in computer science from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 1999. Dr. Ma joined the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of Nanyang Technological University as an assistant professor in November 2000. Dr. Ma has published around 60 academic papers in the areas of optical networks, wireless networks, etc. His current research interests are wireless networks, optical networks, grid computing, bioinformatics, etc. He currently serves as an associate editor for IEEE Communications Letters and an editor for IEEE Communications Surveys & Tutorials.
