Biography

Keck-Voon Ling received the B.Eng. (Elect. 1st class) degree
from National University of Singapore, and D.Phil. from University
of Oxford in 1988 and 1992 respectively. He is currently an
associate professor with the School of Electrical and Electronic
Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
He also holds a joint appointment as a senior scientist at
Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology, Singapore.
From 1988 to 1989, he was a defense engineer at the Singapore
Defense Science Organization. He was a visiting researcher
at Cambridge University Engineering Department in 2001 and
2006. His current research interests include model predictive
control, receding horizon estimation, satellites and GPS related
applications.
