The Workstation Resource Laboratory is one of the main computation laboratories which provide the essential computation needs of the School. It is equipped with 35 high performance workstations, 16 X-terminals and 40 PCs. Faculties and research students in the School are given accounts to access these machines either in the laboratories or from their office through network connections. It has acquired many site licenses for the major computation and research tools, e.g. MATLAB, Mathematica etc. The combined computation power is more than 4000 MIPS, with users coming from all divisions of the School of EEE.
