Biography

Chan Choong Wah received his BSc, MSc and PhD in 1980, 1981 and 1984 respectively in United Kingdom. He also holds a PGDipTHE from National Institute of Education, NTU and a GDipBA from Singapore Institute of Management. He joined the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, NTU as a Lecturer and Senior Lecturer in 1985 and 1990. Currently he is an Associate Professor in the Division of Information Engineering, EEE, NTU. He has served as a project leader of the ON-BOARD DATA HANDLING Subsystem of the DSO/SEC, NTU Satellite project and as a Principal Consultant in Application Service Providers Centre (ASP Centre), NTU. Prior to joining NTU he worked as a Post Doctoral Research Assistant at UMIST, UK. His research interests are on copyright protection, elliptic curve cryptography, steganography, information hiding and digital forensic of digital media. He is a Chartered Engineer and member of IEE, IEEE and Sr IES.
