Biography
-
Dr. Andy Khong received his B. Eng. Degree in electrical and electronic engineering from the Nanyang Technological University Singapore in 2002 majoring in communications. He obtained his Ph.D. (in acoustic signal processing) from Imperial College London in 2005 after which he served as a post-doctoral at Imperial College until 2008. Since May 2008, he has been an assistant professor in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. His research interests include speech and audio signal processing, adaptive filters, acoustic array processing, interactive digital media processing as well as seismic signal processing for target detection and classification. He has also published works on acoustic blind channel identification for speech dereverberation. He was the recipient of the best student paper award at the International Workshop on Acoustic Echo and Noise Control 2005.
