Computing Laboratory

This is the main teaching laboratory in the Division of Information Engineering. The lab houses physically two laboratories, namely EEE Computing Lab and First Year Common Engineering Lab. The EEE Computing lab supports mainly software-related teaching and development works. These include NURP projects, TERP projects, Second-Year DIP sessions, Second-Year and Third-Year programming projects, and Final-Year software/multimedia projects. It also serves as a common terminal room for students in the School of EEE for on-line course and exam registration, Internet access and E-mailing. The First Year Common Engineering lab supports mainly software programming lab sessions for first year engineering students. Major equipment in the laboratory includes 4 Windows-NT Servers. It has more than 100 PCs. All PCs are networked via the NTUnet backbone and operate under the Windows or Windows-NT platforms.
