Inter and Intra-chip Wireless Interconnect
zhangyueping.jpg

A wireless interconnect technology uses a radio technology to provide communications between functions on a large integrated circuit chip (intra-chip) as well as communications between functions on separate chips (inter-chip) located on a multi-chip module or on a motherboard, where distances are measured in a few to tens of centimeters and data rates are Gbps. The wireless interconnect technology has become possible due to the confluence of wireless communications algorithms with radio-frequency silicon processes.

Professor Zhang was awarded the Best Paper Prize in the Second International Symposium on Communication systems, Networks and Digital Signal Processing held from 18-20 July 2000, Bournemouth, UK

Professor Zhang was invited to deliver the Keynote Speech at Antenna Systems and Short-Range Wireless 2005 held on September 22-23 in Santa Clara, CA, USA.

Professor Zhang was awarded the Best Paper Prize in the Third IEEE International Workshop on Antenna Technology held from 20-23 March 2007 in Cambridge University, UK.

Professor Zhang was invited to deliver the Keynote Speech at 2008 China-Japan Joint Microwave Conference to be held from 10-12 September 2008 in Shanghai, China.
