Integrated System Research

This laboratory support research in System Design, Integrated System Design and IC Application. It has both SUN workstations (Qty = 10) and a HP workstations with ECAD tools to support IC Design as well as DSP system design. It has a wide range of test and measuring equipments available to handle applications from audio to RF projects. The laboratory has set up 6 PCs running multi boot OS (Window XP with Linux Redhat 8.0 and Linux Redhat EL 3.0) loaded with Linux based Cadence, Mentor Graphic and Synopsys, plus Window based Office applications. The laboratory also houses the acoustic sound room for audio testing. The laboratory is equipped to house 25 postgraduate students and 26 postgraduate staff.
