Scholarship

Outstanding applicants are eligible for full or partial scholarships for the duration of the 1-year MS programme so long as they maintain a satisfactory academic performance throughout the academic year.

A full scholarship covers tuition grants at both NTU and Stanford, monthly stipends sufficient for basic housing and living expenses, and return airfare to Stanford to attend the summer term.

A partial scholarship has varying degrees of financial support which covers tuition fees at Stanford and NTU, including prepaid board & lodging and return airfare for students attending the summer session at Stanford.

Scholarship holders are required to serve an employment bond of 1 year in any Singapore-based company upon completion of their studies.

Additional expenses

While basic expenses are covered, students should be prepared for additional expenses such as books, insurance, medical expenses and travel between their home countries and Singapore.

Married students, in particular, have to make further arrangements for their families.

Company Scholarships

Applicants can also apply for the ASEAN scholarships at: http://admissions.ntu.edu.sg/graduate/scholarships/Pages/ASEANScholarship.aspx and scholarships offered by other organizations below to pursue their studies in the NEWRI Master of Science (NEMS) programme with a view to a future career at these organizations upon completion of their Masters studies.

Black & Veatch is offering scholarships for undergraduates that want to pursue a full-time Masters Degree in the environmental engineering discipline at Nanyang Technology University (NTU). Each Scholarship provides payment of course fees and a monthly stipend of S$2500 payable for the duration of the course, which is typically one year for the full-time enrolment. On successful completion of the Masters Degree Programme, candidates would be bonded to Black & Veatch. They will also be offered paid employment with Black & Veatch during term-breaks. Applicants should have good academic grades from their bachelor degrees and should be either Singaporean citizens, Singapore permanent residents, or international students interested in applying to become Singapore permanent residents within two years of course completion.
