Aims of the Journal
The Journal of Biomedical & Pharmaceutical Engineering (JBPE) publishes high-quality original research work on the expanded spectrum of these two comprehensive engineering fields. For biomedical engineering, it concerns with the delivery of medical treatment and therapy; development and manufacture of prostheses, medical devices and diagnostic bio-instrumentations. While for pharmaceutical engineering, it emphasizes on the use of drugs, analysis of drugs, related materials and endogenous compounds and their processing. The synergy of expertise in both fields is important for the improvement of patient healthcare and strategic to disease control. The journal will be a forum for in-depth discussion to promote novel methodologies and cutting-edge solutions to meet the emerging challenges in the biomedical and/or pharmaceutical fields.
