2008 BIRC Workshop on Advances in Bioinformatics will highlight
recent advances in the field of computational biology and bioinformatics. The
workshop will feature presentations of ongoing research activities by faculty
members, researchers, and graduate students at the BioInformatics Research
Center (BIRC), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
The workshop
will include presentations of research in the areas of comparative genomics,
computational genomics, proteomics, functional genomics, systems biology,
cheminformatics, immunoinformatics, neuroinformatics, pharmacogenomics, medical
informatics, and bioimaging.
The workshop comprises of three sessions of
oral presentations and an open house highlighting poster presentations and
demos. Research presented in oral and poster presentations will be published in
the Workshop Proceedings.

The oral presentations will be held in the NTU Reality Theatre and the open house will be held in BIRC (RTP-3rd Floor).
There is
no registration fee for the conference but prior registration is required.
