Only full submissions received by 1 March 2006 will be
considered.
Entries will be assessed in terms of
the number of 3G customers that are correctly classified by their
model. A ranking table of the
entries will be made available on this website in May 2006.
A Champion, First Runner-Up, and
Second Runner-Up in each of the three entry categories will be
selected by the organizing committee.
The committee will be factoring in the quality of the
write-ups in determining the winners and reserves the right to choose
to reduce the number of awards if deemed necessary. Degenerate solutions,
manipulated solutions, or any other entries that do not provide
useful insights to the problem would not be considered for any
awards. The list of
winning entries will be made available on this website in May
2006. The decisions to be made
by the organizing committee will be final.
Competition winners will be notified
via email and will be awarded plaques (proudly sponsored by SAS
Singapore) at an awarding ceremony to be held in April 2006 during
the PAKDD 2006 Conference.
Papers from selected competition
participants and a review of the competition will be published in a
special forthcoming issue of the International
Journal of Data Warehousing and Mining (expected to be out in
second quarter 2007 in time for PAKDD 2007).
