Biography

Ghim-Eng Yap is currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, under a full-time graduate scholarship awarded by the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*Star). He received his Bachelor of Computer Engineering degree – with First Class Honors - from the Nanyang Technological University in 2004. His current research interests include context-awareness, recommender systems, reasoning under uncertainty, causal interpretation, graphical models, computational intelligence, and biological knowledge discovery.
