It is the aim of the School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering to protect and promote the health and safety of all its members to allow them to pursue their work and study goals free from preventable accidents and incidents. This aim also extends to all students, visitors and contractors whilst on School premises. The school strives to achieve a safe working environment and it expects the co-operation of all of its members in this regard. Staff, students and visitors have a duty to take care of their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their activities.
