  • Nanoscale electrocatalyst development for proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) and direct methanol fuel cells (DMFCs) .
  • High efficiency carbon nanotube based electrode development for PEMFC .
  • In-situ diagnostics of fuel cell using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy technique and other electrochemical methods
  • Development of composite membranes with low methanol crossover or suitable for high temperature operation.
  • The mechanistic investigation of electrode and membrane performance degradation .
