Research focus:

Nanoscale electrocatalyst development for proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) and direct methanol fuel cells (DMFCs) .
High efficiency carbon nanotube based electrode development for PEMFC .
In-situ diagnostics of fuel cell using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy technique and other electrochemical methods
Development of composite membranes with low methanol crossover or suitable for high temperature operation.
The mechanistic investigation of electrode and membrane performance degradation .
