Synagogues in the area:

The Jewish population numbers around 300.   Religious life at the Maghain Aboth and Chesed El Synagogues is active, with daily services, adult education, and other community activities. A Jewish community centre offers a pre-school playgroup, Sunday school for youngsters and a day school for children 4-7 years old. The annually elected Jewish Welfare Board manages community affairs.  The synagogues and education facilities are orthodox but all are welcome.
