Graduate housing on campus is provided primarily to new arriving students to help them settle in and adjust to university life.  Students may choose from the different types of accommodation available at Graduate Hall, Nanyang Heights and Nanyang Valley.

 

All rooms are furnished with single bed, wardrobe, study desk, fan and internet connection.

 

On-campus housing is limited and demand often exceeds availability.  The closing date for the submission of applications for Semester 1 of AY2008-09 is 16 June 2008.  Successful applicants will be informed by third week of June 2008 and be allowed to check in only from Thursday, 17 July 2008.

 

If you are arriving prior to Thursday, 17 July 2008, please arrange for short term accommodation, you may contact:

1.     Nanyang Executive Centre:  http://www.ntu.edu.sg/OFPM/NEC/

2.     Search the website for various short stay options in Singapore that suits your budget and preferences.

(Accommodation for international undergraduate students in the Halls of Residence is handled by the Student Affairs Office.)

 

APPLICATION PROCEDURES

 

(1)      You are required to accept the offer of admission to the graduate programme before you can submit an application for housing. Please check the room rates and availability BEFORE you click on the relevant links below to submit your application:

(2)      To submit the application, you will need to use an application number.  It is the same application number that you were given when you applied for admission to NTU.

 

(3)     The online application form can only be supported by Internet Explorer and not other web browsers such as Mozilla, Netscape, etc.

 

(4)     Your application will be processed and you will receive an application acceptance through your email.

 

(5)        Please check your emails regularly for the outcome of your application in third week of  June 2008.  The offer of room is subject to availability.  

 

Students are advised to read through and abide by the Rules & Regulations for Graduate Housing (Note: A copy of this will be given to you when you collect your room keys).

 

VACATING PROCEDURE

If you wish to move out, you must submit your Vacate Notice online at least 14 days prior to your last day of residence. You will also need to clear all outstanding rentals.
