Inaugurated in 2005, the NTU E&I Festival is an annual campus-wide event specially designed and organised for the NTU students to celebrate the spirit of entrepreneurship through entrepreneurship-related activities such as forums, games, showcases and networking sessions.

This event serves as a platform to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation through free generation of any, big, bold, creative, innovative or even crazy ideas that create entrepreneurial opportunities or that can help change the world for the better. Whether far-fetched or realisitic, conventional or revolutionary, dull or exciting, participants can simply submit their ideas online anytime during the submission period into the 'Idea Bank'. Ideas submitted will be published online and the top three chosen based on: "Most Creative", "Most Popular" and "Most Noble" will be picked as the winners of the competition. Winners will be published online on August 31, 2009.
