About EAPSI
The East Asia and Pacific Summer Institutes (EAPSI) for U.S. Students is a programme administered by the Office of International Science and Engineering (OISE) at the National Science Foundation (NSF). The primary goals of EAPSI are to introduce U.S. students to science, engineering and research activities undertaken at East Asian and Pacific universities and/or research institutions. It is hoped that this exposure will help these students initiate scientific relationships that will enhance future collaborations with their foreign counterparts.
The EAPSI programme, which also runs in countries such as China, New Zealand, Korea, Hong Kong, and Japan, will include Singapore starting year 2008. Headed by the Singapore National Research Foundation (NRF), NTU would be one of the host universities for selected U.S. students.
Applications are now open. Students are welcomed to apply for attachment opportunities at NTU for the period 16 June 2008 to 8 August 2008.
